Current Charts, published by Alpine Squad · Last updated: August 8, 2026

Not for Navigation

Current Charts shows predictions, not measurements. It is not a navigation tool. Model forecasts and station predictions can differ substantially from actual conditions — wind, weather, river flow, and local effects matter. Never rely on the App as your sole source of information for any decision on the water. Always consult official charts, official tide and current publications, local notices to mariners, and your own seamanship and judgment.

Assumption of Risk; No Liability

Boating and related activities are inherently dangerous. By using the App you accept full responsibility for every decision you make, on or off the water. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpine Squad is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from use of, reliance on, or inability to use the App or its data, whether or not the data was accurate, current, or available.

No Warranty

The App and its data are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that forecasts will reflect actual conditions. Forecast data expires and may be unavailable or stale, including when you are offline.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Optional paid features are offered as an auto-renewing annual subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, billed through your Apple App Store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Prices are shown in the App before purchase.

Data Sources

Current fields derive from NOAA's Salish Sea and Columbia River Operational Forecast System and NOAA CO-OPS current predictions (United States government works, public domain). Tide state for atlas-chart numbering derives from Canadian Hydrographic Service water-level predictions used under licence. Current Charts is an independent product: it is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sanctioned by NOAA, the Canadian Hydrographic Service, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, or any government agency.

Acceptable Use

You may not redistribute, resell, or bulk-harvest the App's data feeds, or misrepresent the App's output as an official product.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
