Spelly ("the App", "we", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains exactly what information the App handles and how.

Summary

Spelly does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with us or any third party. All information generated while using the App stays on your device.

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following on your device only, using Apple's UserDefaults framework. None of it leaves your device:

• Game statistics (best score, longest streak, accuracy, total games played, last played date)
• Recent round history (the last 20 completed rounds)
• App preferences (preferred difficulty, sound effects on/off, haptics on/off)
• Onboarding completion flag

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not transmit your name, email, location, or any personal identifier to any server
• We do not require accounts, logins, or sign-ups of any kind
• We do not use third-party analytics or tracking services
• We do not use advertising frameworks or share data with advertisers
• We do not use cookies, fingerprinting, or similar technologies
• We do not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera

Speech Synthesis

The App uses Apple's on-device AVSpeechSynthesizer to pronounce words during gameplay. This runs entirely on your device. No audio is recorded or transmitted.

In-App Purchases

Spelly does not offer in-app purchases. The App is free and contains no purchasable content.

Children's Privacy

Spelly is suitable for users of all ages. Because the App stores everything locally and collects no personal information, no information about any user — including children under 13 — is ever transmitted or retained off-device.

Data Deletion

All App data can be deleted by either using the "Reset progress" button in the App's Settings, or by uninstalling Spelly from your device. Because nothing is stored externally, uninstalling permanently removes all associated data.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. The current version is always available at this URL.
