Untangle ("the App", "we", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains exactly what information the App handles and how.

Summary

Untangle does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with us or any third party. Everything generated while using the App stays on your device.

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following on your device only, using Apple's UserDefaults. None of it leaves your device:

• Your puzzle progress — levels completed, best move counts, and which levels you have unlocked
• Your daily streak and the date you last played
• App preferences (sound and haptics settings)
• Onboarding completion flag
• Your unlock status (whether you have purchased "Unlock all levels")

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not transmit your name, email, location, or any personal identifier to any server
• We do not use third-party analytics or tracking services
• We do not use advertising frameworks or share data with advertisers
• We do not use cookies, fingerprinting, or similar technologies
• We do not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera

In-App Purchases

The App offers one optional one-time purchase ("Unlock all levels") processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or store your payment information. Your purchase status is verified through Apple's StoreKit framework and cached on your device. Apple's privacy policy governs the purchase process.

Children's Privacy

Untangle is suitable for users of all ages. Because the App stores everything locally and collects no personal information, no information about any user — including children under 13 — is ever transmitted or retained off-device.

Data Deletion

All App data can be deleted by uninstalling Untangle from your device. Because nothing is stored externally, uninstalling permanently removes all associated data.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. The current version is always available at this URL.
